Mostly photos

I am remiss at taking photos (with my phone) of the process, and of finished quilts, but sometimes I remember.  Then when I think I should post something here, I scroll through the folder/album and see what might be of interest to share.

These are some of the pictures that I want to share this time.

First some garden photos, from back in the spring!

And the mess of having a borehole drilled in late January, but lots of water now although garden still to be planted, which is easier now the weather is getting cooler:

And I finished about 21 Little Quilts of Love, but only have a few pics of some of them as tops (all about 24-inch x 24-inch):

My younger daughter wanted to make a picnic throw from all the T-shirts she had earned working at AfrikaBurn over the years.  We did it together and she quilted it on the long-arm.

These are most of my quilt tops that need to be finished.  I think I have finally conquered the long-arm machine, have quilted one without any threadbreaks, thanks to valuable input from good friends.  They are currently piled up on my cutting mat (covered in a table-cloth that my niece says the pile looks like a dead body!)

Bramble Blooms lll top done, and very pleased with this one:

And tucked away at the bottom of this post is my completed Mystery Quilt:

My original fabric pull, and photos I had shared on other platforms to assist people making fabric choices without showing my own fabrics and colour!  The parts of the free pattern will be available at https://www.goodhopequiltersguild.org.za/mystery-block-of-the-month until the end of December 2026

Hopefully, more postings more often.  Thanks for reading
